Isaac Greenbaum

Director of Quantitative Analysis, betaworks Scientist

Isaac joined betaworks in May 2010 as the Director of Quantitative Analysis and betaworks Scientist.  In this capacity, he provides quantitative support to betaworks’ member companies, analyzes data to identify useful trends, features and products, and helps provide a clearer picture of the competitive landscape in which these companies operate.

Prior to joining the amazing team at betaworks, Isaac graduated with an MS in Computer Science from Columbia University with a focus on Machine Learning.  Before that, he worked for two years as an analyst in Citigroup’s Portfolio and Exotics Credit Derivatives group specializing in Synthetic corporate CDOs.  In 2006, Isaac graduated summa cum laude and as valedictorian at Columbia University’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences with a degree in Applied Mathematics.

Prior to joining bit.ly, she held position as the Chief Scientist at Path101 and an assistant professor of computer science at Johnson & Wales University.
